Camping with young children at Cumberland River Campground

This beautiful campground nestled in a majestic valley about 10mins out of the haven of Lorne - is pure magic! You can pitch your tent right by the gentle river, have a fire going to cook all your meals on & just relax in the pure beauty that is Victoria.
Its a short 2hr drive from Melbourne CBD so a very accessible weekend camp trip indeed - and it caters for toddlers and small children beautifully. The river is very gentle and has lovely spots to swim in, there are beautiful bush walks into the mountains, and right across the road is a wonderful wide and wicked beach! In our opinion, its absolutely perfect! Go with a bunch of friends and create wonderful memories for everyone!
