K Road Cliffs, Werribee

The stunning K Road Cliffs are iconic to Wyndham and are truly a sight to behold! They are found on the banks of the stunning Werribee River & are known for their sculptural red clay formations.

If you visit early morn or in the evening you will be delighted with a massive array of bird life, so many beautiful birds make this spot their home, even hundreds of bats. Its truly beautiful.

We have a Tomahawk Aqua Marine blow up kayak, this little kayak is super cool. Its lightweight and can be carried on your back, which allows you to take it to places a bit off the beaten track. It can easily fit 2 adults and one toddler & it takes less than 10 mins to pump up. We love this kayak so much, it has allowed us to go to so many beautiful places.
Even if you do not have a kayak, simply walking down the path to the cliffs and wandering around the base of them is a beautiful activity to do with the whole family!

The traditional aboriginal owners called the river ‘Werribee’, meaning ‘backbone’.  There would have been good estuary and freshwater fish to be caught, along with native animals such as wallaby and kangaroo, bush tucker and fresh water 🌲

Want to op shop!?

Of course you want to op shop! And you can, because Werribee has some lovely ones, and Hoppers Crossing has a bevy of unreal warehouse style ops ✌️
