Kangaroo Valley

oh we simply fell in love with this wonderful part of Australia! The Shoalhaven, NSW South Coast will get you good the second you drive into it!

We spent 2 nights in Kangaroo Valley and one night in Nowra. With Nowra being a beautiful 30 min drive through the lush forest, you could opt to stay in Kangaroo Valley & travel to Nowra for a day trip to explore all the wicked op shops, coming home to your country retreat & admire all your new found treasure ✌️

The second Sunday of the month are a lovely lazy day in the village as the Farmers Market is buzzing in the morning.
Take an amble along the main street, you will easily get chatting away to all the friendly locals, pop your nose into the General Store, its awesome, I bet you will see Skeeter the cat sleeping on his chair!
Check out the Vintage stores & you simply must pop over to Hampden Deli.
A wonderful way to relax is to order a hamper here, and take it down to the rivers edge for a picnic - opulence!

For adventure, we walked the Three Views Walking Track & enjoyed the amazing Lake Yarrunga view.
Even with a toddler (we have a carry pack for her) this walk was beautiful & easy, and the views were breath taking to say the least.

One place we truly loved was Betty’s Bar for lunch or dinner.
This quirky wee spot is situated just over Hampden Bridge out of town a tad, so many newbies to town may miss is - but please, go if you are in this part of the world!
Here they make unreal sustainably sourced slow cooked meals & wicked coffee using local produce & roast the coffee beans on site.
So worth a visit!

You are spoilt for choice with accommodation in Kangaroo Valley.
Lucky for you we found the BEST spots to make it super easy for your holiday ✌️
Our fav spot in KV was Brogers End.
This wonderfully rustic home offers 2 dwellings to choose from, is entirely kid friendly, eco friendly, has chickens & a herb garden & everything you need to have the best sleep EVER.
We loved Brogers End so much, it will always stay in our hearts…..Ill just let this video and these photos do the talking……
