🌲 Milton, Ulladulla & Lake Tabourie op shop & nature adventure 🌲

This part of our trip was oh so memorable - we simply fell in love with Lake Tabourie and the wonderful home we rented there.
We based ourselves in Lake Tabourie while we explored Milton & Ulladulla op shops & went on some pretty wicked nature adventures in between.

Milton is a quirky little village on the outskirts of Ulladulla and is home to the beautiful Mayor of Shoalhaven, Amanda Findley.
We had breakfast with Amanda and she gave us a guided tour of her hometown and its crazy cool op shops & vintage treasure stores.
A short drive & you are in Ulladulla where there are some pretty swish op shops to check out ✌️you could easily spend a day exploring these ops while having a nice lunch in Milton.

There is soooo much to do for adventure on this beautiful coastline of NSW. I think our favourite adventure of all on this whole trip, was kayaking Lake Tabourie, it was pure opulence.
Pebbly Beach & Depot Beach’s are a lovely day trip
Pebbly Beach had an amazing rainforest walk to the beach, was an easy 20min walk. Frankie walked there and back on her own (she’s 4)
(Pebbly beach is about a 40min drive south from Lake Tabourie)
Honestly - you are simply spoilt for choice!

I think the one thing that made this part of our adventure most memorable, was the retro lake house we rented. This exceptional home actually made me cry 😆it was truly beautiful.
Fully fenced in which is nice to know when travelling with kids, a stones throw from the lakes edge, an amazing easy to use kitchen, a record player and a delightful back yard overlooking the lake - bliss.

🌲 Adventure 🌲

Kayak Lake Tabourie - we set out at 6.30am, it was sublimely calm.
We have our own family blow up kayak, its amazing. It’s easy for Sean to carry in and out of locations and takes about 7min to pump up.
The house we rented also supplied kayaks.

Pebbly Beach & Depot Beach
Here you will find friendly kangaroos and curious parrots on a wide stretch of white sand beach.
Its a very special spot indeed.
Do be sure to walk the rainforest path to Pebbly Beach, it takes about 20mins and will blow your socks off. Frankie walked in and out on her own - she’s 4.
Please do not touch or feed the wildlife & take all rubbish with you.
