welcome to my blog, I hope you have a lovely time here.

I made these awesome shower steamers and I’m hooked! Think bath bomb vibes — but instead of dropping them in the tub, you just pop one in the corner of your shower. As it slowly dissolves, it releases the most beautiful aromatherapy steam. So, so good. 💛
And the best bit? They’re ridiculously easy to make. Here’s how:
2 cups bicarb soda
1 cup cornflour
1 cup citric acid
Pop all the powders into a large bowl and gently stir with a whisk — try not to create too much dust while mixing.
In a small cup, mix together:
5 teaspoons water
1 tablespoon essential oils
(I used half a tablespoon of cheap eucalyptus from Chemist Warehouse — because let’s be real, proper essential oils can be pricey! The other half was a mix of DoTerra peppermint, lavender & eucalyptus. Use whatever oils tickle your fancy 🌾).
Slowly pour the oil/water mix into your powder bowl while whisking quickly to combine.
Pack the mixture tightly into a ⅓ measuring cup (or use large ice cube trays/small containers).
Tight packing is the key to helping them hold their shape.
Level off the top, then tap out onto a tray.
👉 This recipe made me about 10 bombs in total.
Let them dry for a few hours, then store in an airtight container.
✨ That’s it! Pop one in the corner of your shower, let it fizz away, and enjoy the aromatherapy magic.
Add more oils if you like it stronger.
Double the recipe if you’re making them for friends. 💛
What a lovely way to take a shower!!!
Love,
Anna x ❤️
